At 20, Condesso moved to Villarreal CF from Southampton for £34,000, after failing to secure a first-team place during his four-year spell, the first three in the club's youth system.[1] He had previously served a six-month stint with the club in 2007, and spent two full seasons with its B team, in the third division.
Released in June 2009 without having made a single first-team appearance, Condesso stayed in the third level in Spain, joining modest UD Logroñés and subsequently representing Ontinyent CF.
Internationally, Condesso represented Portugal at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, in Canada, playing all the matches (two complete) in an eventual group stage exit, and scoring in a 1–2 loss against Gambia.[2]
